FILE SIZE
Your print-ready artwork can be uploaded once a product is added to your cart. We accept files up to 100MB, depending on your internet connection’s capacity. To reduce file sizes, consider compressing your files into a zip format before uploading.
If your artwork file size is below 10MB, you can send it via email. For larger files, we recommend using cloud-based services such as Google Drive or Dropbox and providing us with the link. All print-ready files should be uploaded when placing an order through our cart.
FILE FORMATS
We accept the following file formats for print:
- Adobe PDF (.pdf)
- Adobe Photoshop (.psd)
- Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
- JPEG (.jpg)
- TIF (.tif)
- PNG (.png)
The following formats require conversion (with/without an additional charge of RM10):
- Microsoft Word (.doc)
- Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt)
- Microsoft Publisher (.pub)
FONTS
We recommend supplying artwork in the specified formats with all fonts either embedded or outlined. If your text is not converted to outlines, please provide copies of the fonts used. While we have an extensive font collection, there is no guarantee that our versions match yours, which could result in significant text placement and spacing changes.
BLEED AREA
A well-defined bleed area prevents accidental cropping. We suggest including a bleed area in your artwork to account for razor tolerance. Elements intended to reach the edge of the finished piece should extend 3mm beyond the edge.
Additionally, maintain a safe zone of 5mm around the edge of the finished page size for text or images not included in the bleed. This prevents accidental cropping of text due to sheet movement during cutting.
COLOUR SPECIFICATIONS
Print previews are not reliable for colour accuracy due to factors like monitor calibration, screen resolution, and lighting. Many Pantone colours shift when converted to the four-colour process.
Ensure all embedded images use a CMYK colour profile. While RGB images look good on screen, converting them to CMYK can significantly alter their appearance. We recommend clients perform this conversion to retain control over the process.
IMAGE RESOLUTIONS
All images must be at least 300dpi and saved as CMYK to be suitable for high-quality print. Internet-sourced images are typically 72dpi and RGB, which are too low for printing. Resampling an image from 72dpi to 300dpi will not improve its quality and is unsuitable for print. Rasterized text or logos should ideally be 1200dpi.
